PAULSBORO, N.J. — Investigations into claims of faulty Gloucester County Hazmat equipment expanded to the state level Thursday, following the recent launch of a county probe of firefighter allegations.
The state Department of Health will conduct its own investigations into Washington Township firefighters’ claims that vital county Hazmat equipment used at the Paulsboro train derailment and chemical spill site were missing or inoperable at the scene.
