FLORENCE, S.C. — Officers are looking for two men who robbed two CSX train workers earlier Friday morning, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.

Police received a call at 3:27 a.m. from a CSX worker who said two of his employees had been robbed at gunpoint. The two victims told police they were at McQueen Street and U.S. 52 working near a stopped train engine when they were approached by the two suspects, one carrying a rifle and the other carrying a pistol.

The two men assaulted assaulted one of the victims, who was sitting in a company truck, and threatened to kill the both victims if they called the police, Raines said. The suspects ran from the scene with several company items and a small amount of cash.

One of the suspects is described as a black man about 5 feet 10 inches tall who was last seen wearing a dark jacket and pants.

The second suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet tall and last seen in a grey hooded sweatshirt.
