PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — Two cars of a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed in the interlocking at Waldwick, N.J., Metro-North Railroad officials said Monday.
One of the three tracks is available for use and New Jersey Transit will operate a regular PM rush hour schedule outbound on the Port Jervis branch tonight.
In addition, two inbound trains, #64 and #66, Monday afternoon from Port Jervis to Hoboken, and from Middletown to Hoboken where scheduled to operate as trains.
All other inbound service will be provided by buses between Suffern and Ridgewood until further notice.
