NEW YORK — Along with Kansas City Southern, Union Pacific is expected to incur costs due to severe floods in Texas, Louisiana, and Minnesota. The floods in Iowa and Minnesota impacted UNP’s mainline traffic in September 2016. These costs, which include repairs to rail bridges and track maintenance, could impact the company’s 3Q16 earnings.
