CLEVELAND, December 19 — The BLE’s National Legislative Office in Washington, D.C., has received confirmation today that President Bush will sign the Railroad Retirement reform legislation (H.R. 10) tomorrow.
The announcement came from the U.S. Department of Treasury, which also announced that no signing ceremony is planned.
The legislative victory is cause for celebration by railroad workers and retirees across the nation.
