NEW YORK — The U.S. House of Representatives on March 4, 2015 passed the Passenger Rail Reform and Investment Act of 2015 (PRRIA, H.R.749) “with widespread bipartisan support,” according to Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Jeff Denham (R-Calif.). Denham joined Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), Committee Ranking Member Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) and Subcommittee Ranking Member Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) to introduce PRRIA.
