Quebec justice department plans to intervene in MMA court proceedings in U.S.

MONTREAL — Quebec’s Justice Department will intervene in the bankruptcy proceedings of Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway, in a bid to ensure that the company pays some of the costs of decontaminating downtown Lac-Mégantic.
