HARRISBURG, Pa. — A railroad employee was killed in the Norfolk Southern rail yards in northern Harrisburg Monday night.

Details, including the man’s name and the circumstances of the incident, were not available yesterday. An autopsy was conducted yesterday afternoon, but the results were not available.

Norfolk Southern Spokesman Rudy Husband said the railroad could not talk about the death and referred questions to the National Transportation Safety Board.

A spokesman there could not be reached yesterday, and local police said they were not aware of the incident near Industrial and Lucknow roads.
