LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Paducah & Louisville Railway has paid out at least $325,000 to reimburse people evacuated from their homes because of a chemical fire from a derailed tanker car, seeking to compensate evacuees who incurred hefty expenses for motels, meals, lost wages and other costs of relocating for days.
