The chart identifies the various railroad retirement tax rates and bases, how they are reported and to whom they are reported. It also reflects the changes made by the recently enacted Railroad Retirement and Survivors’ Improvement Act of 2001.

Members can obtain information about the new Railroad Retirement legislation from their local Railroad Retirement Board Field Offices. Please use this link to find the Field Office in your area.

The Year 2002 Reporting Summary is available for download and print as a PDF file from the BLE website.
