NEW YORK — Shares of some top railroads companies were down at the close of trading:
CSX fell $1.42 or 2.7 percent, to $50.29.
Canadian National fell $1.37 or 2.2 percent, to $61.04.
Canadian Pacific fell $1.41 or 2.4 percent, to $57.24.
Kansas City Southern fell $1.28 or 3.7 percent, to $33.78.
Norfolk Southern fell $1.53 or 2.7 percent, to $54.56.
Union Pacific fell $1.50 or 2.0 percent, to $74.50.
