NEW YORK — Shares of some top railroads companies were down at the close of trading:
CSX fell $1.43 or 2.9 percent, to $47.70.
Canadian National fell $.84 or 1.5 percent, to $56.86.
Canadian Pacific fell $.79 or 1.5 percent, to $53.29.
Kansas City Southern fell $1.16 or 3.2 percent, to $34.94.
Norfolk Southern fell $1.79 or 3.4 percent, to $50.91.
Union Pacific fell $1.14 or 1.6 percent, to $68.37.
