GRANGER, Wyo. — A Union Pacific railroad track between here and Idaho has reopened after a train derailment.
The train derailed the morning of July 25 after an axle broke, company spokesman John Bromley said.
A car carrying phosphorous was damaged, but no hazardous materials were spilled and no one was injured, he said.
The track, which runs to Pocatello, Idaho, reopened July 26 after crews worked through the night. Cleanup of the entire site was expected to take several days, Bromley said.
