WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Association of American Railroads spent $1.6 million in the first quarter to lobby the federal government on antitrust legislation, emissions, homeland security, and funding for the Surface Transportation Board.
That’s down from the $1.7 million it spent in the year-ago period and the $2.1 million it spent in the fourth quarter of 2010.
