FORT WORTH, Texas — A railroad employee remained in serious condition Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after a train ran over him, amputating his legs and an arm, a railroad official said.
Officials identified the victim as BNSF foreman Paul Young, 28, who was at John Peter Smith Hospital.
Young was working on the train Monday night when he was hit by it, Joe Faust, a BNSF Railway Co. spokesman, said on Tuesday.
