KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Southern and the BNSF Railway are among the many business owners forced to make major adjustments to cope with flood waters that are reaching historic levels. Among other tactics, the railroads are raising tracks, building levees, and rerouting shipments to avoid the flood waters.
