NEW YORK — Shares of some top railroads companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Burlington Northern fell $.23 or .3 percent, to $86.27.
CSX fell $.41 or .9 percent, to $46.65.
Canadian National fell $.45 or .9 percent, to $52.12.
Canadian Pacific fell $.52 or 1.1 percent, to $48.17.
Kansas City Southern fell $.30 or 1.0 percent, to $28.69.
Norfolk Southern rose $.35 or .7 percent, to $48.63.
Union Pacific fell $.08 or .1 percent, to $62.78.
