HOPKINSILLE, Ky. — According to documents filed with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, the site will be approximately 280 acres. The train inspection yard will be west of the existing CSX tracks in Christian County and will stretch for approximately 6 miles, between Casky Lane and Main Street in Pembroke. Both ends of the proposed rail yard will taper off, while the middle of the site will be wide enough to fit 10 railroad tracks side by side.
