By mid-October, BNSF Railway Co. expects to reopen the Napier Subdivision between Napier, Mo., and Pacific Junction, Iowa — the last subdivision to remain out of service because of heavy spring and summer floods. Meanwhile, Union Pacific Railroad has nearly fully recovered from infrastructure damage and traffic detours caused by massive Missouri River floods.
