WASHINGTON — D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton is behind a plan to improve rail security.
The Democrat announced on Thursday that she’s introducing a plan to improve security for passenger rail systems, including Metro.
She says Congress has appropriated only $248 million for rail security compared to $14.5 billion for airline security since September 11th.
