SHREVEPORT, La. — We’ve all had to do it — sit and wait patiently in our car for a train to pass. It seems like an eternity, but for most of us probably 5 or 10 minutes, maybe even 15 in a worse case scenario where we are just stuck waiting. What if those times turned into 20, 30, 45 minutes or even close to an hour? Yikes! That’s no fun. Some folks who drive Highway 1 in Caddo Parish near the Port of Caddo-Bossier say that’s what they deal with daily.
