BECKLEY, W.Va. — Progress has been made in discussions between Amtrak and the Collis P. Huntington Society to re-establish the New River Train service and officials hope to reach a concrete deal soon. However, further discussions are needed to work out the logistics. U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin said Wednesday that a tentative agreement had been reached.
