U.S. Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) on March 14 introduced the Transit Infrastructure Vehicle Security Act (S. 846), which proposes to prevent federal funds from being used by transit agencies to purchase rail cars or buses manufactured by Chinese government owned, controlled or subsidized companies.
