PHILADELPHIA — Regular riders of regional rails may very well be looking for another way to get where they normally go beginning as early as 12:01 a.m. Saturday. With the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen Division 71 and Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 744 at a negotiating impasse with SEPTA, the region’s public transportation system is set to impose a wage hike for about 400 of those union members Saturday.
