NEW YORK — Bullets pierced the locomotive of a freight train in Newark, N.J., Monday night, NewsChannel 4 reported.
Investigators said it was a CSX train headed to the Albany area.
Authorities said no one was injured.
Two shots struck the train, blowing out a window and mirror.
Train operators said the shots were fired from the direction of the New Jersey Turnpike.
