Stopped trains more than a hassle when rural emergency crews are forced to detour

FOR WAYNE, Ind. — The first call came about 7 a.m. to the Noble County Sheriff’s Department. A train was blocking a rural crossing. Seven hours later, the train hadn’t moved. The crew had maxed out its hours and had to park the behemoth until new employees arrived.
