LAWTELL, La. — Contractors for Union Pacific Railroad and Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality employees workers are working to contain chemical spills after Sunday’s train derailment left a host of agents leaking from their containers. The chemicals have leaked into drainage ditches and are being carried to Bayou Mallet.
