CLEVELAND, November 4 — Brother Christopher Lewis, a member of Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) Division 528 (London, Ontario), was fatally injured in an on the job accident on October 27.
Brother Lewis was working as a trainman for the Canadian Pacific Railway in Cambridge, Ontario, when he was involved in a switching incident that caused his fatal injuries.
He was 29 years of age and survived by his wife Angela. He began his career with Canadian Pacific Railway in April of 2003.
On October 29, TCRC members on Canadian Pacific honored Brother Lewis by observing a moment of silence for him and all other Canadian and U.S. railroad workers killed in the line of duty.
