INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, February 18 — The International Brotherhood of Teamsters has published a Disaster Relief Notice to assist members living in the state of Louisiana.
The Disaster Relief Notice (DR-4300) is for damage caused by severe storms, tornadoes and straight-line winds that damaged homes and property on February 7, 2017. DR-4300 only applies to members living in the parishes of Livingston and Orleans.

Be sure to include all requested documentation. The deadline for both Disaster Relief Notices is May 1, 2017.
If you live in the affected area and experienced a loss due to one of these FEMA-declared major disasters, please download and submit the forms. For questions, contact the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund office at (202) 624-8971.

To help increase awareness of this valuable benefit, members who live and work in the affected areas are asked to print and post these Disaster Relief Notices at their places of work. Previous notices are archived on the BLET National Division’s website, https://www.ble-t.org/disaster. Also, members are advised that the BLET National Division does not administer this program.
