CLEVELAND, July 14 — The Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund is accepting applications for assistance from members in Vermont after severe storms and flooding caused major damage to homes and property on May 27, 2011.

Assistance is available to Vermont BLET members who live in Caledonia or Washington counties.

Available from the BLET website is a Teamster “Disaster Alert Notice” and “Request for Help” form. If you have experienced a loss due to extreme weather, please download and fill out the forms, or call the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund office at (202) 624-8971.

The forms — including all requested documentation — are due by Monday, August 29, 2011, and are available here:

This notice for Caledonia and Washington counties is in addition to a previous Teamster Disaster Relief notice for the following Vermont counties: Addison, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille or Orleans.
