NEWBURYPORT — State Sens. Kathleen O’Connor Ives and Bruce Tarr have announced that the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has added a late train on the Newburyport commuter rail line from Boston’s North Station. At the start of 2013, O’Connor Ives facilitated discussions with decision-makers for this schedule change with the support of Dan Lauzon and Chris Roy, legislative representatives of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, Local Division 57.
