NEWARK, N.J. — Riders on three NJ Transit train lines will experience delays of up to 60 minutes this morning because of an earlier Amtrak power problem.
Midtown Direct, Northeast corridor and New Jersey Coast Line trains were held at stations this morning because of Amtrak low voltage conditions, according to NJ Transit’s website. The power problems was fixed 8:22 a.m.
A call to Amtrak’s media line was not immediately returned.
In addition, Midtown Direct trains are being diverted to Hoboken. PATH will cross-honor tickets in that city and in Newark, according to NJ Transit.
