BENICIA, Calif. — Three Union Pacific Railroad cars from the Valero refinery derailed near Teal Drive, according to a Benicia Fire Department report.
The Benicia News reports that the cars derailed upright and were not damaged, Union Pacific regional public relations director Mike Furtney told the newspaper. Two of the cars were carrying flammable gas. The third car was empty, said Furntey. No one was injured, he said.
