ROSELAND, Neb. — Officials in south-central Nebraska scrambled Wednesday to check on residents after a number of tornadoes hit the area. Union Pacific rail cars toppled off a track between Highways 4 and 5. A Union Pacific spokesman confirmed that seven empty coal cars had fallen around 6 p.m. There were no injuries from the fallen cars, and no injuries reported in the county as of 8 p.m.
