ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Several cars and a tanker fell off a Roseville railroad track early Tuesday morning, shutting down the tracks, according to local news stations KCRA.
Officials say that the crash was caused by a “switching” accident.
Union Pacific rail yard workers started working around 6:30 a.m. to clear the tracks, remove spilled debris from the cars, and repair the tracks.
There are no reports of injuries or toxic spills.
