SALT LAKE CITY — There were some frightening moments in Salt Lake City Wednesday when some train cars came off the track while pulling into a rail yard.
A little after ten a.m. five union pacific train cars derailed at the Roper Yard area near 2100 South and 600 West.
No one was injured in the accident and Union Pacific says it won’t impact their main rail operations.
Investigators are trying to determine what forced the cars off the track.
