OKLAHOMA CITY — The north and southbound ramps of Interstate 235 at Northeast 23rd Street reopened Sunday after a train derailed early Saturday morning.
Twelve to 14 cars of a southbound train derailed in Oklahoma City at about 2:30 a.m.
Oklahoma City Fire Department Maj. Brian Stanaland said no one was injured in the accident.
Stanaland said the train was carrying hazardous materials such as acid, liquid propane and ammonia, but those cars were not damaged.
Two cars carrying plastic pellets did leak, but the pellets did not cause any damage.
Crews did not have to evacuate the area.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
