PITTSBURGH — A train derailed around 3:45 a.m. in the Conway Yard in Beaver Wednesday morning.
The Norfolk Southern train was in the train yard and was in the process of switching cars when the derailment happened.
A total of 13 cars derailed, six of them were on their side and seven were upright but off the track. Ten cars were empty and three were carrying plastic pellets.
The derailment is not affecting rail service in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
Officials are still trying to determine the cause of the accident
