NEW ORLEANS — A volunteer effort to bring Hurricane Sandy supplies from the north shore to New Jersey’s shore on board an Amtrak train will launch a second trip later this month, organizers said Tuesday. Last month, volunteers around St. Tammany Parish packed $250,000 in donations onto the Crescent train bound for Newark.
