LAREDO, Texas — A man died after being struck by a truck at the Union Pacific Railroad yard, according to police. Laredo police would identify the man as Juan Pedro Gamez, 20, who was employed at the yard along with the driver of the 18-wheeler. The driver was trying to work on a mechanical issue on the trailer when Gamez was struck by the truck and died at the scene, according to police.
