SANFORD, Fla. — An Amtrak locomotive and dining car derailed as the train pulled into a station, officials said. No one was injured, according to the Associated Press.

Passengers waited for nearly 10 hours Sunday for their vehicles to be unloaded from the Auto Train after the cars were put back on the tracks, said Amtrak spokeswoman Karina VanVeen.

The train departed from Lorton, Va., Saturday afternoon with 230 passengers and 25 crew members.

In April, four people were killed and more than 150 injured when an Amtrak Auto Train bound for Lorton, Va., derailed three miles south of Crescent City. That train had departed from Sanford.

In that case, the train’s engineer reported seeing a buckle in the track just before the accident.
