SAN ANTONIO, Texas — An investigation into the theft of stereos, televisions and other items from rail cars has netted two arrests of Medina County residents last week, and the case isn’t closed.
Union Pacific Railroad spokesman Mark Davis said stolen merchandise was recovered during searches conducted last week by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
Christopher Suehs, 22, of Castroville, and Brian Cavanaugh, 26, of LaCoste, were charged with burglary of a rail car and engaging in organized crime, officials said.
Suehs is free on bond, but Cavanaugh was held under $35,000 bond today.
