TOLEDO, Ohio — Two new railroad bridges on Northwood’s main east-west road will open today, an Ohio Department of Transportation spokesman said Wednesday. The Wales Road bridges over CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern railroad lines are the centerpieces of an $11.23 million project to eliminate three railroad crossings in the area that are often blocked by trains.
