ELKHART, Ind. — Two people were injured in a train derailment near Nappanee in Elkhart County overnight. Police say the damage extends about a quarter of a mile. A CSX official says this involved about 30 loaded cars and two locomotives that were all derailed. None of them are carrying hazardous materials. The two people injured were part of the train crew. The injuries were minor, say police.
