HOUSTON — U.S. coal carload originations jumped to a 13-month high 65,632 in the week that ended March 6, up 11.9% from 58,634 a week earlier and the most since 69,261 in the week ended Feb. 1, 2020, according to a March 10 report from the Association of American Railroads.
