OMAHA, Neb. — Two locomotives and 19 historic cars will carry on the railroad’s long ties with baseball.
Union Pacific will be rolling in a fleet of historic train cars and the popular steam locomotive No. 844 for a new and rare attraction during the College World Series.
Directly across from TD Ameritrade Park, U.P. will set up No. 844 and a newer diesel engine for a public display, and 19 pieces from its historic heritage collection will be featured at private events.
