SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are on the lookout for the man who shot an Union Pacific employee during an apparent robbery attempt late Monday, October 10. Ricky Goldsmith told police he was working on railroad tracks near East Jewella when the robber tried to rob him at gunpoint, according to police reports. The two began to struggle and Goldsmith was shot in the shoulder.
