LOS ANGELES — Union Pacific Corp. said on Monday the recovery from weather-related mine shutdowns in Wyoming could take as much as 10 to 14 days.

Union Pacific said that storms that began March 29 caused severe flooding and road closures around the Southern Powder River Basin, where 10 mines served by the railroad temporarily shut down. One mine remains flooded and most others are operating at reduced capacity.

Some 160 trains were unable to load as a result of the closures, the company said.
