MIDLAND, Texas — Residents living near the site of the Nov. 15 fatal train crash have heard train horns sounding in their neighborhood since that tragic day at what is supposed to be a designated quiet zone. According to the Union Pacific, all trains passing through that intersection have been slowing down to 15 mph and sounding their horns because of increased pedestrian activity and pending inspections.
