CLEVELAND, June 4 — Union Plus is offering $25,000 in scholarships to help students currently enrolled at the National Labor College (NLC) with completion of their degrees from the now-closed labor university.
The NLC’s final graduation ceremony came earlier this spring. Currently enrolled students who didn””””t have enough credit hours to graduate will still be given the chance to complete their NLC degrees over the next 18 months through a “teach-out” program. The NLC has partnered with several approved partner colleges for the program, which will allow students to graduate with their degree from the NLC by the fall of 2015.
Union Plus has always provided scholarship opportunities to students enrolled at the NLC. Union Plus is continuing to help by providing $25,000 in scholarships to students who participate in the “teach-out” program. Eligible students must submit their completed applications by Monday, June 16, 2014.
